Final Showdown

How are you guys?,

These days i'm quite busy with school as well as at work. So my last post was on 12th August, that's like the weekend of Hari Raya. Seriously speaking i am very lazy to update my blog but i'll give a try.

That weekend was really a blast for all my Muslim brothers and sister am i right? Visiting house after house and having full meal at every house. The calories accumulated is the highest at the end but everyone is happy and excited to begin the new chapter with each other. After that, everyone is back to reality starting with Monday blues and a very draggy week ahead. For me it's normal back to school and work begin on the Tuesday. In school i began with starting to animating the first scene of our video. Since Joel and Aaron has done the clinic scene it's my turn to animate the muscle transferring scene. I cannot tell you more than muscle transferring because it's quite confidential. That's basically what i did for the next three weeks before Project Review 2 presentation. It was quite a last minute work and sleepless nights for them but not for my case. Towards the last week we are geared up for the presentation and since the video voiceover will be done by me, i actually go home and try to pitch my voice so for the three videos we can have a consistent tune. After the PR2, I was quite happy with our progress but there's still changes to be made and we planned to get a goodnight sleep before the final presentation. As i was writing this blog, Ben our project supervisor told us that he got the studio ready for the recording. I hope to be as fit as possible and hopefully I will not repeat it too many times. It's my first time in the recording studio and It'll be damn cool

Do you remember that time I was talking about the Akkufresh battery sticker? I think i can see the effect after a few charge cycles. I decided to change to MIUI ROM because the original firmware cause me a black screen on the home screen so I know i am in deep trouble. Luckily MIUI ROM are able to work on my device. It saved my life and time if not i will need to send to the customer service center for repair. After using Akkufresh for weeks, I am giving it a thumbs up as it really deliver its promises to its customers that is to give more uptime and standby time of the phone. So i really recommend those who wanted to have more uptime for their phone. Here's a quick glance for my weekly routine on my phone and you guys can gauge if it's good or bad.

Phone Type: Galaxy Note II N7105 LTE, Battery 3100mAh.
Types of user: Mild( Surfing social networking and listening to music)

Weekdays (Monday to Friday) : 730am to 530pm (School hours), 6pm to 12am(Home), 0530 to 0730(Charging time) = 13 Hours of usage and 2 hours/Charging

Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 0830am to 830pm (Working hours), 0730 to 330pm(Working hours) = 20hours of Working hours.

Final Verdict: The battery can last me 13 hours plus each day with mild user. Before it can last me 6 hours.

Okay let's talk about working. from this week till the fourth week of August I've work with Sarah,Zafirah,Cindy, lulu,Shawn,Jonathan,Jamilah,Aloysius etc. All awesome people i met at work and everytime I will work different people. Okay let me begin on that second week of Hari Raya, everyone was working on the Saturday, and so I work with Sarah. My first impression is that she looks fierce yeah I am scared even I looks fierce too. But things get better once we begin our shift. No choice, we need to talk with each other if not 12 hours will be hell and super draggy. After knowing her for the few hours, we kicked off very well after that. Haha her first impression of me is that i looked fierce too. No offence but a lot of people said that, I just accept the fact that I am fierce.Oh I think I write about this on the last post did I? I can't remember.

Next for the next day, I'm out for Hari Raya visiting again. Visited about three house and back home to wait for guest to come for the rest of the day. The next week working I was with same shift with Marie and Zafirah. Most of the time, I will talk with Zafirah. Humans has just these habit to talk to their same age group. Do you agree with me? The whole day we talked quite a lot and I taught her some of the basic stuff since she's new. I'm an old bird there alright, along with some other colleagues. We were talking about her brother's wedding preparation all and I accompany her to see the Burberry bag. Holy crap! That limited edition branded bag cost $2000. I don't believe in branded stuff because i will only use what i can afford and not something that i can't. After knowing her, I found out that the world is small and she knew two of my best buddies, Amin and Ariff. Yeah from then onwards, we have been whatsapp-ing each other and talk about stuffs. Is it just me or everyone think that girls in tudung now looks pretty, especially when they style their tudung.

The next day i work with Sarah and Cindy again. Cindy looks quite familiar to me, she told me she finally see me since we interviewed together last April. Haha I was quite surprise she remembers the quiet guy back in April. So back in April for the on job training, I was the only guy there and the rest were girls. Oh yeah lets talk about what happened. So the night before the passengers left a log cake and the night crew didn't eat it. Everyone was hesitating to try the cake. Actually the first time when we saw the cake, Cindy told us she will try it first as she was hungry. We didn't touch the cake till like 330pm before i left. I took a pair of knife and fork and we share the cake.Cindy cut the cake and feed the both of us. My first reaction was like, ewww the cake doesn't taste good anymore. We should have eaten it earlier, wasted but a yucky experience with the cake. We keep talking about stuff and how the passengers are quite funny in terms of stuff they did. This is self explanatory alright.

Okay last weekend, I was working with Jonathan and Shawn. I was like aww damn, three guys working together, if we didn't talk, it will be hell. Jonathan is a chinese convert and I was shocked. But I am proud that he is a Muslim. His Malay is not bad, initially i thought he was a Malay. His voice really doesn't sound like a Chinese. Then at a point of time this Indonesian passenger was carrying a Ferrari plastic bag, I asked him if he bought a scale model and he told me he bought a motorcycle helmet instead. Let me show you the helmet, It's quite nice.
Ferrari Helmet taken from it's website
It looks good right? It's from Ferrari and he told me it cost $130. He said it was cheap and thought it will cost a few hundreds more or even thousand. I will love to head down to MBS to check out the helmet myself. If possible, I would love to buy one. I told Jonathan about it and he said quite nice. He said that he wanted to ride but parent disapprove of him like me too.

Towards the night there's a lot of Australian flight, I was helping at the lucky draw box when my phone rings. It was Everyday from AKB48 and guess what, Shawn guessed the song right away.By the way Shawn is a girl. She has nice rosy cheek and a fan of JPOP. Straightaway she told me the song title and singer. I told her i'm quite a fan myself too, their songs is not bad. Then we talked about AKB48 stuffs all, I didn't find anyone apart from Joel who likes JPOP before. Most people I met prefer KPOP. Yeah i agree but AKB48 songs is quite nice and has a nice bass. I set for my alarm and incoming tone.

Okay I am quite excited that semester is ending and we will give our best in making the MP a success. There have been a broken path in between but we managed to fixed that. I'm sure things will go as planned. Okay this coming friday is my baby sister birthday! I'm so excited but i cannot see her, we are separated by seas and mountains. But yeah I hope to be the first one to wish her Happy Birthday.

Okay I think it's like the summary of the whole month man for this post, It's already 27th August and September is coming real soon. Korea getaway soon in October, more over I will met Rose in Korea. So excited finally have a friend in Seoul. Okay I will end this post today and I will post again once my semester finish.

Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1434H along 8 August 2013

How have you all been?

I hope everyone is at their best of health and having fun since its a pretty long holidays. First and foremost i would like to apologize for my slowness in updating this blog. I am kind of really busy lately. Okay Let me begin from the third week of Ramadan.

So this week many things happen. Our normal outing to the lagoon after Terawih has increased. We visited like almost alternate night of the week. Ramadan is ending and everyone is in the mist of preparing of Aidilfitri. My primary school bros and my ex-classmate went to the mosque together. Apparently one of them has a pending TP(Traffic Police) test on 31st July.  He was really keen and sure he will pass one time. He went for prayers without fail as the date approaching. I remember that particular night, we were out at the lagoon and he spend his time alone. Everyone of us in the group understand how is he feeling because all of us are holding the blue card. Well the blue card i'm referring to is the driving license. That night Amin really drive like a pro, we went for a short ride on his car and all of us got back home safely.

The next day, is the big day for Hariz. It's his TP day. I was feeling quite nervous even though i'm not the one taking it but as a bro, i need to feel nervous for him. I told him to recite some Surah and perform Prayers in the wee hours. Thank God to Allah, he is greatest the Almighty. I am relieved to hear the good news upon him passing the test. So that means, he have another license to his name ): Of course i feel jealous because i didn't get to take it before him, if not i will be riding to school with ease. That night, we had a blast, so it was me who sponsored the ride. We went to Changi Airport Swensen and it was the man of the day treat! We really had so much time together. Even though we are not in the same secondary school, all of us met because of poly and our regular Masjid. One thing for sure, all of my friends have been through the worst and all of us is consider to be more religious than previously.

We had earthquake for supper and each of us had a option to choose two flavours from the menu. It was so yummy. Of course along the way, we make sarcastic jokes and laugh to our heart content. Even some of the jokes is super bad and may hurt one easily, we don't really take it to heart. Our friendship of 13 years will not break us apart even when we are married in the near future, Insyallah.

So i was working for the weekends a week before Hari Raya. On saturday it was the same with Yang De and Jocelyn and sunday with Afifah. Talking about it, i needed to cover slot at terminal 3 booth and I work with Afifah. Even we have been working together i still find her scary but she's kind and never scold me before. Compare to the rest who said Afifah always scold them i got no experience with that. So time pass by quickly that day and the queue is really long. I really hate it when there are a lot of China's flight. Not only they are a big spender, but also expect us to speak Chinese to them. Surprisingly i picked up quite a few Chinese for the really cannot communicate passengers.Of course i will attempt to talk to them in English first. Apart from that, i really enjoyed working at T3 because there are korean and japanese flights. I remember before Ramadan i can remember a few Korean and Japanese sentence but now the Chinese sentence in me has overpowered. I need to pick up my Korean back for my upcoming trip. I am so excited, its like 2 months away and I am all prepared for the trip. I need to brush my Hanggul abit more, i think i'll do it one week before i leave for Seoul.

Alright, bambambam.

Now it's the fun part. On Hari Raya's eve, i went to school for about 3 hours. Out of the 3 hours, i accompany Haidar at the library and saw Shafiq. I really pity them because i was doing that same thing 2 years before. So we had a bit of time to catch up. Then when i go back to my lab, my cp ask us to fill in some course survey. It has been so long since i last gotten a survey not mentioning that we need to shade in the OTAS. Funny that we didnt answer any open ended question. There's no marks anyway why should we bother with it? right. After that, Joel,Alex,Aaron and me went to Tampines to reset our singpass. We needed the singpass to register for medical. So once i got back the lab again, listen to a few Hari Raya songs and i'm back home. All Muslims student is granted a half day on the eve of Hari Raya. The moment i reached home, i lie on the bed and occasionally fall asleep till Iftar time. Brother had been busy at the kitchen preparing for Hari Raya dishes. I feel useless because i only helped to clean a bit and change the cushion. That night, i accompany Hariz on his bike, we went to run some errands and we meet the rest of the 102 bros for a sparklers night. That night i remember, there's no way for anyone to walk and the speed is super slow.i wasted 10 minutes walking in the bazaar just to buy the sparklers. Upon arriving, everyone else were there and we haven't meet each other for months. Many things happen and we chatted while playing sparklers under the void deck. It was a common scene for all of us at 102.

The next day its Syawal first day! everyone wake up in the light drizzle lazy morning. But all of us make our way to the Masjid despite the rain. I was dressed in my brown Jubah that brother bought for me last year during his Haj trip. It was comfy. Everyone else was wearing so nice. The baju kurung, samping, songkok with brooch and lots of Jubah. We need to perform the Solat Sunnat Aidilfitri that morning.Come back, all prepared to head out for visiting. As usual my first house is my eldest aunt house father's side. It was a tiring day as i was the chauffeur. The youngest one in the family always need to become the driver during festive season like this. It was so nice. We ask forgiveness for our wrongdoings from each other and we start a new chapter in life together. As the youngest i still get Duit Raya after i Salam with my elders. You know i always wished that one day me and that lucky girl can wear baju kurung together and ask forgiveness from each other. It's like one of the raya songs, sepasang kurung biru which means Same pairs of Baju kurung.

So we continued jalan raya from morning till night for the next 2 days. Friday was epic for my family. We had planned to start visiting after Solat Jumaat but then one by one people start swarming in till late at night which is at 11pm. I remember we are all set, our hair done, make up done and we need to serve the visitors in our baju kurung. That night, Tv was showing this movie, Tiga temu janji which means three dates. It was a good movie and really touching. The girl who lost her father as he left her mum for other girls promised to her mum that she will never believe in guys after that incident. Then the movie continued with her dating guys for three times and make a good breakup. Little did she know she met this guy, and try to seduce him. The plan backfire because the guy was using reverse psychology on what she had been doing. It was her who confessed to the guy and from there things started to get sweet. It was a nice drama and i really hope i was the guy. I remember the guys visitor was siting in front of the tv watching this show and i can see that everyone is interested in the movie. If you have the opportunity go and watch it, it is in Malay but it's really nice.

So the next day i was down for the T3 1030 shift with Sarah. At first when i look at her i didnt dare to say hi because she looked fierce. But hey we needed to start talking if not the 12 hours going to be such a drag and like a hell. That day, there was a a lot of Japanese and Korean Lady and most of them are pretty. Needless to say the Japanese is very polite. We love helping the Japanese and Korean because they are polite. The Vietnam lady also not bad. I was working inside the booth when Sarah's friend approach me and said hi. I was busy so i said hi and she lend me a helping hand inside the booth. She was pretty. I really wanted to talk but the customer keep on coming and coming. Wait, is she trying to seduce me? she wink at me. Oh damn that gorgeous eyes and that lips, ahh i don't know what to say. Sadly we didn't get to talk and i didn't ask Sarah about her friend name, should i? I was shy and if i were to do that she will confirm know i am interested in her friend. Oh my gooodness.

Okay I have been researching on motorbikes lately. Since my bro Hariz got a bike i am his first pillion and i really enjoyed being on his bike. I keep on thinking, if its my turn to take on the two wheels for the road. But seriously is dangerous and if i think further, its for my transportation. The adult fare is such a hassle for me. One trip to Airport can give me one day full parking charges at the airport in my motor. Well for motor, i decided if i were to take one, i will take scooter. Piaggio or yamaha fino 115 is a good choice for me. I find scooter more classic and they can't speed. Well the main part is to get the destination on time safely, but well i need to consider more stuff before i make that decision to take motor. What you guys think? Do let me know?
