School here we go again

Hello readers, I realised its coming to almost a month since I last update my blog. Initially I told lenny that we will update the blog but then I haven't have the time to update mine. So today since I'm a bit free I shall begin what I've been up to.

Soon after dad got transferred to Bright Vision Hospital. It is situated near Hougang Ave 8, near Lina's and Darilyn's house. Okay he was brought here because he is a strong candidate for rehabilitation. On the day he got transferred, we found the place not up to standard and somewhat quite warm compared back to SGH. Everything was new, the place, nurses, doctors even though they were from SGH. First week I met his first therapist. He is a young and friendly guy. He told me about the current situation and how he planned to help my father to walk again. You are right, he is a walking therapist. Firstly he was given a slow sit up with the help of us. I can see that my father is very keen in quickly recovering as he participate and give his 100% cooperation to the therapist. He is really enjoying his stay there. Very well trained nurses, friendly therapist and more. The truth I spend most of my time taking care of him during my holidays. Lucky my holiday is not being wasted like that. Previously I completed 2 trips to Seoul and Indonesia. Definitely satisfied with the trip but things has to happen for a reason.

Lets fast forward shall we since everything happened back from Indonesia till I begin my attachment in School is the same. Other than my father recovering day by day and spending my time there other than that nothing much. Hope he is able to discharge soon and returned back to his normal life but this time is different. He will retire.

School began for most of us in Polytechnic and it has been the 4th day in school. first week is a bit quite plain and slow moving. Joel, Aaron and I was shifted to the other lab together with Alex,faried,ernest and shaun. At first we thought that its going to be boring since there's only 7 of us in the whole lab. Additional 3 more girls from different courses. First day they got awkward and left the lab for a few hours just because us guys were talking about girls and some boys stuff. What they didn't know that my group project is on Breast Reconstruction. They might have misunderstood us and it has been awkward since. We cant be that awkward till week 21, surely they'll understand us soon. Out of the 3 there's only 1 who is pretty. Aaron and I were like stealing glances at her everytime, maybe we have fallen for her? But the thing is two of us is of the same kind. We are shy and doesn't like to talk that much. So how? I also don't know of the outcome. Maybe soon we will get to know more about her.

For my business updates before school begin I told zef to purchase this program name traffic robo. The program is said to convert a text like this blogpost into pdf,movie,mp3 and ppt. What we don't like is that the upsells have what we needed and that cost way more. We are really sceptical for now. I purchase another software name Instant traffic app. It is a wordpress plugin that help you to generate content and auto drive traffic to your blog. Sounds good. But to our disappointment like other affiliates, waiting for that $1 to come in to our sales seems like taking forever. But I'm very sure we can get to there soon. I'm already putting aside a few hours back from the hospital to dedicate myself to this business. Okay I'm done for now see you in the next post.

My 20th birthday wishes

So hey guys. I hope you guys had enjoyed by blog post so far.  I know it's long and with a bad English but who cares. Its my blog and I have the full authority to however I want to write it.

Okay back to the topic. Yesterday and 30th March I celebrated my 20th birthday. No longer a teenager.  Time fly so fast. I give you a bit of information about me. I was born in Mount Elizabeth hospital on 30th March 1993 approximately around 10am. Thats so far I know.

This year so far has been a good and bad year. Many unexpected things happened.  Everything happens for a reason. Anyway last year wishew came true after about a few weeks.

This year my wish is to start earning passive income online.

Many people have turn to online for their retirement plans. Many has succeeded and many others fail. I have tried this since last year but have not really but my heart and mind to it. So I really hope to give this a big success.

The thing I want to be an entrepreneur is that as to fulfill one of my father's wish to have at lesst one of the son into business. I have talked to him about this and he gave me 100% support. Since he is being hospitalized the total amount of hospital bills will setback for our family and if mum is not working. The after service car will mount up to a few thousands too. I think we can't live like previously. Finance is always an issue for everyone.That's why as being the youngest child, I hope to be a good son and take care my parents and give them wealth and luxury as to repay them the good life they have given me. Oh Allah, please help me and guide me to right path.

If all goes well in 3 years time I'll see myself and my family migrating to a bigger house and enjoy vacation all year round. My plans is to donate part of it for Mosque rebuilding and charity to orphanage.  May Allah grant my 20th wishes. Insyallah.

Part ll

Continuing from my first post about March adventure. Today I will writing about my Indonesia trip. A little background of the trip, we travel a total of 17 people. Places we visited includes Jakarta, puncak and Bandung.

SIN-BDO-JKT (Day 1)

Wake up at 5 and we are ready to leave. Well it was a short holiday and I didnt pack much. Little did I expect that I can buy so many stuff there.  Lets proceed. The taxi uncle was driving at 110km/hr. It was so scary and we arrived on time. Checked in our baggage and we met uncle and aunt. The first trip it was all the middle age including me and granny. There was drama because one of my aunt has her name wrongly printed so they need to do some ammendments.

We boarded the A319 Silkair plane and was greeted warmly by the stewardess. The plane took off at 830am and was due to land at 900am Indonesia time. It was a rough ride I can say the least that I expect from any Airline. The formation of clouds in the sky was splendid. Imagine looking at the sky from the cockpit, what a view anyone could ask for. Soon after 1hour we are greeted by rows and thousands of atap houses. As soon as I saw that I knew that the airport would be at the center of the town. I was right! I did my research beforehand to see what I would expect. Landed at Bandung husein sasteranegara bandara, it was a rough landing. The whole cabin was shaking and the pilot make an emergency brake. Why on earth he do that. Next come the moment of truth. I was so shocked to see the airport. It was small and the pick up baggage is beside the immigration. 

We were greeted by our driver, hary. He is a young guy with those Indonesian complexion. He was very friendly and welcome us warmly. We got on his 12 seater van and was due to travel 150km to Jakarta. We ate at some Padang restaurant at the expressway and continued our journey to Jakarta. Soon after 1/2 past 12 we arrived at Mangga Dua, Jakarta. To tell you the truth it was my first time visiting Jakarta. The least I ever visited was Batam. The place and atmosphere looks exactly the same as Batam. The place where we will be staying is Rumah Shinta, located along Mangga Dua street. Fast forward to dinner. We visited a beachside restaurant and has a sumptuous meal of seafood. It cost about 1 million! Rupiah. We got back and rest early because the shop there closes at 5pm. That night I was due to meet Randy my old classmate from secondary school. After O level we never saw each other. I was supposed to be first one to meet him but then a turn of event. He couldn't make it for our meeting because of his aunt. Oh what a night. Both was disappointed and he was disappointed more than me. But when the  time comes we will sure meet again.

JKT-PNK (Day 2)

Woke up early in the morning as we will be going to Puncak. It is a 3hrs drive from Jakarta. We shopped at mangga dua mall abit before continuing our journey. We arrived puncak at 1pm local time. Upon arriving we went for lunch at kerinduan Alam(Missing nature).it was about few hundred metres about sea level.  It was the most delicious lunch I had so far and we eat at a Sundanese Restaurant. After that we went to find our hotel. It turned out to be a villa. A huge villa with 12 rooms, a pool and a soccer field of its own. The temperature there is about 24 degrees Celsius.  What I like about this is that even though its sunny the temperature is cooling. Rested for the rest of the evening.

PCK-SBG-BDO (Day 3)

The next day we are going to visit aunt's helper house at subang. Driving time takes about 3 hours and from there to the house it takes about 1 hour. It was really sad to see the standard of life here. The atmosphere was fresh as it is a new experience for me. Vast area of padi fields, coconut trees, rambutan, banana etc. As usual it is very humid here but its good climate to harvest the plantation.
Finally after hours of rounding we arrived at the house. It was so far and deep inside. Without their help, we wouldn't reach the house. We were greeted warmly by them. They prepared food dessert for us. If you have the chance to see, you would have been much more grateful what you have now. They don't have most of what we have. After chatting and eat our lunch we left back for Bandung.

We are going to meet the 2nd group the rest of the 6 people back at the hotel. It was a damn long ride. From 4pm till 8pm. By body ache and neck pain. Upon reaching the Harris Hotel I was so surprised. The hotel is really good with linking shopping mall just under the hotel. Had a sumptuous dinner at the food court and went to watch movie at cinema.  Now this is where it all happens.

DAY 4

Awoken by a serious series of headache and diarrhoea.  I was the first one to get sick on this trip. It was really sad and tiring. All I could do was eat medicine and drank lots of water. Every time the bus stop I rushed to the toilet. Finally decided to go to clinic. They gave me a jab to ease the dizziness. Then rested the whole day in the van. They visited tangkuban perahu air panas, kampung daun, strawberry farm etc. All I could do was sit and watch from the van. I got to go into the tangkuban perahu air panas.  Legend said that the water here can cure any illness. The water is at 30 and 45 degrees respectively.  It was like onsen in Japan, really nice. Wish you were here. Arrived at hotel at night. From tomorrow more dramas.

Day 5

My father was infected by me and he got the diarrhoea and vomiting too. But he got worse. He almost got hospitalised there. Then more and more people got infected.  I rested for the whole day inside the room whike others enjoy their shopping.  At night I just gk for the laid dinner barbeque. It was not as good as I expected but definitely I need something to fill my stomach.

Day 6

I brave myself to fight the disease. Went over to shopped at pasar baru. I bought 5 t shirts and a new balance shoes. The thing about new balance shoes is that I wanted to get a pair in korea but the price was tok expensive.  Then we went over to rumah mode, paris van java and back to the hotel. Nothing much to do

Day 7 last day
BDO-SIN

After breakfast in the morning I went to lottemart to shopped abit then back to the hotel room. Didnt get to get a haircut,  buy teh botol etc. Really disappointed. In the end I ky manage to buy sunglasses. Father was using the wheelchair by now. We arrived at the airport at 230 and was set to depart to Singapore by 430. I was in charged of taking care of father till we reached Singapore.  I got a special lane to board the airplane first. No need to go the long way. Just go by the staff way and boarded the plane. Took off at approximately 430pm and for the first time I am happy to go back to get my treatment at the doctor. The food served on the plane is not as nice but to fill our stomach. Beautiful landing at changi airport around 7pm. The view from my seat can see the whole view of Singapore city with the sunset effect. Very nice didnt get to capture the photo. Arrived and we separated our ways back home. Enjoyed our time and I cant wait to receive my krisflyer card soon. Such a long post. Anyway leaving for now. I spend 1 hour waiting at the hospital writing this blog. Take care and happy easter.

What i've been up to?

Dear readers! Its has been nearly 2 weeks. Hope everyone is In their best Health. Well I going to split the post into 2 parts. 1st part: What I have been up to and 2nd part: My Indonesia trip. Here we go....

Anyway 3 days before our flight to Bandung I have decided to get myself a brand new laptop. Well you know the old one has kind of served its purpose for full 3 year. I can't imagine, 3 years passed really quickly. I remembered that time brother and I bought it at IT fair in March and now it is March 2013. I bought Acer Aspire V5 Touch 15,6 inch. It was an early birthday present I guess but it is split into 5 since I got 5 siblings including myself. Its quite a steal and definitely worth the price. One good thing is the screen is huge 15.6 inch. First time I'm using a large screen laptop and furthermore it has a TOUCH function, like a tablet I can say. All ready and packed. Watching Running man is such a nice experience. MacBook Air with retina display would be better but then it is out of my budget.

One day before flying off, I met with Kevin and Weesin at Airport for a short catch up and to pass Weesin his Kang Gary Newera Cap that I bought in Jamsil,Seoul. It was a short catch up but definitely we need more time like this. Weesin told me he like the coffee here because of the casher. When I look ohh no wonder!, she's quite pretty. The funny part was when we wanted to order drinks, first I choose Javachips Mocca then weesin and Kevin choose the same so i choose Green Tea Latte, the girl laugh looking at our childish behaviour. Seriously guys we are near 20! Nothing much happened just that we disturbed weesin in asking the cashier for a talk haha, we all shy so nothing happens.

Oh yes Before I forgot the week before I fly off my sisters and I went to Universal Studios Singapore(USS) on a Sunday. Pictures will be upload later of the post. So it was our first time visiting there since it opened few years ago. What a thing. But definitely nice. So many Indonesians, Japanese, Chinese visitors. The ride was awesome. Actually I wasn't a big fan of roller coaster and scary rides but today I beat that! I took few of the rides but not full, 1/2 a day wasn't enough. We spent time on food, Goldilocks etc. The meal and price was a ripped off you know those place where tourist visit always a ripped off to us local. First ride we took was Madagascar banana boat. Its those rides where they bring into dark place and characters will start shooting you with water. Haha it was definitely fun. Then we went into the magical castle of Shrek. A 4D cinematic experience. Not much of the special effects but definitely will thrill first timers. We proceed to Canopy flyer, a high speed roller coaster. At first I was scared then I saw this grandpa, then I told myself if he can do it, I can do it too, better? Then it was the moment of truth... the last check and we are ready to go... Up those scary slow track and a sudden pause, the followed by a acceleration and spinning. Woah once I reached back my hair was like just past a typhoon and my face like I strike gold haha, it was that awesome. Next we queued for Pyramid, we didn't go for Jurrasic Park because it is a wet ride. We gave up on Pyramid as they have some technical difficulties. I was passionate for another round of roller coaster so we went for a ride at Transformer. Everyone when visit USS always say Transformer is definitely a ride you cannot miss. So being a typical Local, the queue was indeed long but it was moving so it was okay. Upon reaching we are given a special 3D glasses to enjoy the ride. The ride is really cool. Its like a vehicle but the show and effects and a bit of movement make it really realistic. It was definitely a recommended ride for those who want to visit USS. Then we went over to Steven Spielberg studio. To our surprised we really got so wet. So the MC was saying that 2nd and 3rd row has a surprise and row 1 which we were a bigger surprised. The biggest surprise is that the boat drop into the pool of water and bam! all of us got wet, damn those sneaky surprises by MC never believe them! Then we head over to Sesame Street where brother just finishes the projects there. He said that it is a thrill rides but for kids? the theme is Elmo preventing the world from spaghetti meatballs attack. It was so fun and hilarious. didn't get to enjoy the other rides but will come back for more. So we ended the day with Musical Show at 840pm and meet mummy back home. It was okay. I actually felt like a tourist in my own country. Definitely fun and enjoyable.

I guess this time the holiday is really enjoyable, 2 trips in 1 month. Okay next, let me talk to you about what I've been really up to. Well you know the new galaxy S4 that is recently released? I think the S4 not so much difference than the galaxy s3 and Note 2. It has a 5 inch screen with 13MP camera and 5 mp front camera. One good thing I like about the new features is the S Translator. its really cool! Every tourist definitely need that. Now I feel like getting my hands on galaxy S4. I just need to wait for few weeks to months for it to launch at our shore. Not really excited but well since Samsung is releasing a new product, as a fan I will support. Okay moment of truth! my results are out. Guess what? I passed everything yeah everything. I though I going to fail ASP.Net but then I passed. Cheryl whatsapp me straight when I was in Bandung, Indonesia. She asked me to check if I pass my ASP.Net at that moment I really don't care. Being on a holiday mood I just open and check it, I passed! Wohoooo. You know we actually said that if we fail this lets do it together and go to the same class! But both pass. Sigh of relief. The CGPA and GPA both increase luckily. It was a difficult semester but really worth the trip for a distress session. You know I just love writing long post and I going to continue still.  Okay now is the real deal. at Bandung we travelled 17 people and 7 people got diarrhoea, I'm the king cause I was the first to hit. As for my father I really pitied him, he got infected by me and was even hospitalised. Now he is on his 9th day at SGH, last week he had a major operation to remove his blood clot. Little did we know that cabin pressure make it worse, if not I would have extended my stay in Indonesia for another week or two. Since his major operation, I was full time at hospital with mum.

We arrived early around 10am and go back at 10pm. ICU you can come anytime 24hrs because it is Intensive Care Unit. His diarrhoea trigger the stroke and he need to go major operation. For once I thought if I didn't get diarrhoea nothing like this would have happen and I just wish all the best. I was really scared if he don't make it. But I know, he is very determined to get back on his two feet as the breadwinner of the family. Good news is that today doctor said that tomorrow he will be transferred to a normal ward. That means he is going to go home soon! Yay! I'm so happy and yet sad. Firstly this holiday I can't work because I need to take care of him till my holidays are over. One thing I wish for that the business really start kicking in very soon. Okay since its 26th March, you know I am 4 days away from my 20th. As a start in welcoming to my 20s I have prepared something for myself. I not sure what I will be doing on my birthday though, cause I will be at the hospital looking after my father. Seoul trip 2013

Anneyong Haseyo fellow chinggus. Well it was a well worth short trip but really meaningful. On 22th February, i entered the border of South Korea for the third time. Yeah it was my third time. First was with family in 2008, then 2010 with siblings following by 2013 with my brother. I really love South Korea.  Okay let me try to summarize where did i go and what did i do. On the morning of 22th February i headed for Seoul on SQ600, it was a morning flight. Its my 2nd time taking SQ on my flight to Seoul and i really like their Service, very warm and enjoy my flight throughout. You know the feeling when the plane is at full throttle and the next moment, you'll see the small red dot. All you can do is shout for joy " Oh yeah! Goodbye everyone,stress! hahaha". I always do that every time the plane lift off from the runaway. So our flight was around 6hrs + additional 1 hr time difference. We arrived in Seoul at 3.30pm

The picture shows the time i arrived in Seoul. When i took this photo i didn't take because of the time, it just a candid anyways. Okay so the temperate was -4 Degrees. It was really a good welcome climate. Okay and then we headed for Seoul City on AREX. AREX is an Airport Rail where the journey to Downtown Seoul took exactly 43mins. We arrived at Seoul Station and at first we were lost for a bit. Lucky our luggage is not bothersome. Then we went over to the Metro and took to Euljiro Il(1) ga station. We stayed for 7 days 6 nights at Seoul Backpackers. Staff all ready and first night in Seoul, we had a walk around Myeongdong. The atmosphere here really crazy, the ladies  from the cosmetic shop shouting asking everyone to come in and have a look at their product.We ended the day with a few street snacks.

Dongdaemun History & Cultural Park, Honggik University

The next day, we went over To Dongdaemun History and Cultural Park. Here we had our Brunch at BeanieBins.Then we walk around at Doota, Migliore,Hello Apm, Maxstyle, Napyeonghwa shoe market and cheonyeocheon stream 2. After that we headed to Hongdae, Honggik University Area. Here we had a haircut at hair by A.T.O.M. Really the ladies treating us so nicely. What i like about life in Korea, they have nice buildings to enjoy your cup of coffee while chatting. So i get my haircut after for like months and i looked like a hobo. After that we tried to find Coffee Prince cafe 1 and 2 and to our disappointment, both the cafe is under renovation. Man seriously, it just been 2 years and the place has changed this much! After much walking we decided to head back to Myeongdong area.Here we walked around and had our dinner.

Bukchon Hanok Village and Apgujeong Rodeo

Today we had our breakfast at Paris Croissant Cafe. Brother love it so much that whenever he saw this cafe, he sure will buy the chocolate pretzel and a cup of Caramel Macchiato. It was my first time in three trips going to Bukchon. It was a really tiring journey, we took 3 hrs at Bukchon itself from the beautiful Hanok houses to high class cafes around the area. Bukchon area is located near Angguk where all the traditional houses and rich bungallows are situated at. I shall show you the picture later, next up we headed to Apgujeong Rodeo. Apgujeong Rodeo is another high class street where you often see Equuos, Merc, bentley in this area. It is believe that hallyu stars and idols shop or often found shopping around this area. So we give it a shot and look at it. This is my first time too. Wow seriously i didnt found the Apgujeong Rodeo Arc but we are satisfied with what we saw. This place has really high standard. Like those in the dramas and movies.

Seoul Tower, Itaewon, Banpo Bridge & Apgujeong Rodeo

Today we got up to have a morning walk at Namsan foot. We took a cable car up to Namsan Seoul Tower, It was my third time up there. Really nice place to be. The view here is really fantastic, if you readers have the chance to visit Seoul, this is a must place to visit! No doubt.There's this place on top of Seoul Tower where couples put a love lock here. There's so many of them and everytime i visit here, the numbers just increasing. Maybe next time when i have a girlfriend we shall put a lock here too.  Okay we took a cab to Itaewon where i brought brother to Seoul Grand Mosque, the only Mosque in Seoul. They going to have an upgrading soon, next time the mosque will be bigger and can accomodate more people during friday prayers. No doubt, once i had a chance of performing my friday prayers here, i was at the roadside and it was -5 degrees at that time. Really freezing but satisfied. Totally new experience for me. Okay then we headed to Banpo Bridge. This Banpo bridge is situated near the Hanggang River. The unique thing about this two tier bridge is that comes at night, there will be a nice rainbow colour fountain. But too bad it was during late afternoon that i arived here. Not really satisfied but really i should go again. We had Coffee at Hollys Coffee, its really the next coffee cafe you need to go and its really huge here in Korea.After that we visited Apgujeong Rodeo street again, not to have disappointed with our first try, we visited the place again. We get to see posh boutique like LV, MCM, PRADA,Gucci etc here. To our most delight we found the newest SM Entertainment Dance Studio! Around the corner is JYP, Cube Entertainment. Guess i'm one step closer to them.

Lotte World Theme Park

So today we visited Lotte World Theme Park. We had Lunch here then we visited Lotte World. At the restaurant we are at, we are well served by this girl name Jjo Kko. She really treated me well and always smile when seeing me. The bill comes first and when i look, she put a heart shape beside her name.I was like , ohmo she's so pretty can i get her number haha?! She speak english well and recommend us what to order. She's really good and i don't mind going to the same restaurant if she's here. Hehe. We parted off  then we headed over to Toysrus. We bought Tayo the famous korean cartoon toy of brother's friends son. It was really troublesome and i needed to use some of my korean to ask if its still available. Haha luckily my korean can make it though. We were proscastinating to ice skate or not. Then we just walk around. I bought Weesin's Newera Cap here too. He was so happy when i message him i saw his cap here and straightaway bought it. Then we walk around lotte world, has krispykreme and we headed back to Myeongdong. Wow this must have been my best trip so far. No doubt.

Wow, its ending soon, i am sad though. Okay we wake up morning went over to Namdaemun Market to see some stuff. Haha i can tell you as a guy, we bought a  lot of cosmetics from Nature Republic. They were having 50% discount, shh better don't let the girls know about it or they will go crazy about it. After buying stuffs here we went back to put our stuff and went over to National Assembly. It was so quiet here because its a financial district and the famous KBS station is here. It was my first time too. Really worth it. We spend our morning here and really had a good lunch around here. We took metro to Yeouido station. We went up to the sky art at 63 and it was a magnificent view awaits everyone who paid to go and see. At the top got this one little girl she's very cute. She go infront at the window and shout " Eomma!, eoddiseyo?!, Bogosippeyo!" It means Mum!, where are you i miss you. Haha her voice make it more cute. Rose agree with me after i showed her the picture and video. It really made my day. I miss the little cute girl. What is unique about these kids, in winter they wear so many layers and they look really chubby. Okay from the top is a 360 view of Seoul with 8 or 9 Bridges linking the downtown Seoul. From the top it looks like lego blocks. Really nice. Then we walk past the neighbourhood and School really nice.

Namdaemun, Myeongdong,

Okay we have finally reaching to the end of this post. So today, it was really a sad day cause we'll be leaving Seoul. We shop last round at Namdaemun market and bought last minute stuff. We walk and walk and took the last nice cooling weather. I really miss the weather very much. We headed to Incheon Airport and arrived at 3.45. Our flight is due at 4.35 wow we are considered late, fortunately we didnt miss our boarding time. Okay i just end the post with pictures.

Guys if you have any comments or planning to have a trip to Seoul in future do let me know. I don't mind for a 4th trip and beyond. Perhaps one of my korean friend name Naeun Rose said she'll be back in Seoul and she's jealous that i know Seoul more than her. I guess we will meet soon, i'm sure she will meet me cause on my 2nd trip she did kakaotalk me about my trip.
