Sleepless nights

Hey ya guys. I'm back again. I think this week post i going to keep it short and sweet, I just reached home back form Aloysius house. We did a few scene and there's progress on our animation. Pretty good cause he just upgraded his computer so his computer can support the high graphic which the school computer can't. Okay as a summary this week is considered a slack week for me. In class don't bother follow tutorial already. Since its project time, we spent the time on doing projects as well as playing games on our handphone.

I finally got my Adobe After Effects CS4 up and running but one limitation is that every time i want to use, i need to set my computer date back to 2008 where is a year before CS4 expires. It's quite irritating somehow but i can't spend so much time in school. The bed at home is comfy and calling me back. For Interface Design 2, i can begin on my After Effects part. Basically what i need to do is a product promotion. Quite cool huh? Right comes Discover Virtual Globe we have our very last assignment! 40% report. Actually is quite easy cause the report we need to do is recommend the advance Google Maps  placemarks like the 360, YouTube etc.Very cool and we need to write between 1k-3k worth of report and we are done. Thursday as usual idm we continue our after effects and i'm proud that today we have begin animating our scene. We managed to do 1/3 of it and i can say it's quite worth it.No problems on the rendering part since Aloysius is going to render the scene. We feel debted to him but seriously the school's render farm only open during working hours, a bit difficult for us cause our classes end at 4 or 5.

Three more weeks to the final Showdown. Okay so business hasn't been that good. I actually placed order with AmazeSolution and they delivered the Gig 2 days ago. Currently 356 clicks and no opt-ins. I'm so sad but i'm not skeptical though, i still have 28 days to go for the Gig and i can say they are delivering a high traffic for a price of your dinner meal. Yeah is that cheap! I was really considering buying solo ads for $40 but my budget has been tight for now. I'm sure things will work out soon. I just hope i can pass semester 2.2, really a tiring semester.

I'm am very excited too cause my trip to Seoul is confirmed. So many places i want to go this time, Myeongdong, Apgujeong Rodeo Street, Namdaemun, Banpo bridge etc. My aim is to buy clothes and hopefully i don't overspend if not my Bandung trip i won't have a single cent to spent. Anyway i'm sure i will have the money somehow only time will tell. Okay guys have a wonderful weekend ahead. I'm looking forward to reading your post.

Here we go again

Howdy,

How are you all doing? Just hope that you guys are having so much fun in school anyways. So we reached to another weekends, is fast don't you think? Tell me why is not fast, wake up go school stare infront of the computer and wait till end of the day. So boring i know. There's like a month left and i am no nearer of completing my projects. This is student mentality do work at last minute. Do you agree with me? I think you do.

Monday we go through a few more tutorial on AE(After Effects) and ended the day with ASP.Net. We got to know our presentation day will be 20th February, in our case is 1 month away, can we really finish all this post-production? Only time will tell. As fro ASP.Net we got back our lab test and nearly all of us failed it miserably. Actually is not difficult, we just couldn't connect to the damn database.

We begin Tuesday with DBMS, phew we only go through the ER Model as a group. Seriously most of the time were spent on chit-chatting and playing games rather than improving on the ER Model. We got the best student as one of our groupmates. Of course we don't ask him to do everything, we got contribute a bit. Its not the 1st time we are grouping with him. Okay after which we went for Interface Design, this week lesson is only about improving our interface and briefing for Assignment 2 which we have less than 3 weeks to complete it.

Wednesday a dark gloomy morning. I reached school at 730 and i was surprised to find another guy earlier than me. What the crap.... I thought i was earlier. I caught a glimpse of him by surprise. I opened the door and got greeted by a black hair shadow far end near to our class. So i recite my prayers and walk slowly towards it. To my surprise is this guy sleeping. His jacket is black and from far i thought i see someones hair. Maybe it's just my imagination though. When through for DBMS lecture and she went through our term test paper, phew none of us fail the test. We headed to Sugarloafs at Culinary School and was welcome with a warm greeting from the waitress there. What makes it so unique is that all of them working is part of their attachment only the guy with botak hair makes Latte. I bought Apple crumble, mango cheesecake and Hazelnut latte. The place was quite popular though but the food is not as fantastic as we thought, maybe we come on the wrong day. So I headed home as there was no CDS that afternoon. Seriously, most of my classmate was jealous because we never have a CDS that ended at 5pm before. The latest was at 4pm, this CDS is damn shiok and I highly recommend to take it.

Here comes Thursday. I woke up at 11 knowing class starts at 1. So much time left. Not nothing what to do i sleep for awhile more and get out of the house at 12.15pm. Today we do our final AE tutorial on the Ironman HUD. It was really cool though! at first it was hard but after giving a few more try just rinse and repeat. After class we had our lunch at ITAS and it was a good lunch. Not many people at that time and there was no queue. This is the best time to eat at ITAS.Okay

So comes Friday... the thought of skipping school is high because today both lesson is databases... and worse still we got make up lesson from 2-4pm. But who cares, just a few more weeks for this class. Today morning i was greeted by another figure, it was Azizah. I asked her, you came early today and she told us that she saw accident infront of her house. I was like okay, tell me more about it.She were describing really good and then Celina,Aloysius,Darilyn and Tessa arrived. So we all joked at her and she just can't stop talking about the guy she have crush from CDS. So we were determine to disturb her till she fed up. The battle just began and hopefully it won't end so soon. Like normal went to Friday prayers and I spend most of my time talking to my lovely sister on my way to the Mosque. As i was 45mins early i decided to take a short nap but I continue chatting with her through whatsapp. Ended the day with 2 hrs spending the time playing games on my phone cause its group discussion and basically our group has finished our ER and we are free to do anything.

Okay here's for my lovely sister. I am just happy and great that i actually have a younger sister. I treat me so well and often share hers and sometimes my problem together. I jokingly ask her if my mum want to adopt her. Haha it was this small things that make the conversation more excited. To tell you frankly i have never meet her in real life before.But then we grew up together after meeting a few years back online. It's going to be a long post if i going to say here. So i just keep you in suspense. What i can say that i treat her like my own sister and i am happy to have her around. How i wish i can meet her if she's here in SG. There's so many things i wanna tell her and show her. If we are meant to meet each other, we will. Love you sister ~

Heads up for my weekly business! So i haven't spend so much time on my business. It's not that i'm skeptical about it but projects is my priority right now.I just need to wait for a good time to start my solo ads. I am still waiting for this guy on fiverr for my blast. I can say that he is actually a good seller, eventhough we delivered the clicks but her direct to a wrong url. I send him a ticket and he responded quite fast. This is the kind of seller we want and we are looking for. Those who listens to their customer and taking feedback as well as admitting it was their mistakes and will amend it accordingly. It is $5 so i decided to give it a try. If his solo ads is well worth it, i could get a solo from him every week. I don't aim high for $5 solos, just a few opt-ins and the delivered clicks.Not even sale. I was checking this guy name Cal for his solo ads. It's like $40 and he gave 125 unique clicks. Most of the reviews turn out to be positive and i really enjoyed reading them. Some even says we got over delivered of clicks and have nearly 100 opts-ins for 200 clicks and best of all a few sales. I though to myself, hey this guy is awesome. I should give it a try once but the thing i scared is results may vary from person to person.

So my plan is every month i will spend $40-80 dollars on solo ads. The initial plan was $100 but i don't think i can afford that since i just begin. What i'm looking forward is to get 100 subscribers per month of more and this is will quickly grow my desired list of thousands or more. Soon i will start and hopefully business will kick in very soon. I am putting high hopes on this business. It is 100% Legal and it's a real thing. The dream of owning my own car will come sooner than i thought. Okay now i want to talk to you about my upcoming trips. Haha will i get you jealous somehow or another? You be the judge, you decide.

Okay my first brother recommend that me and him go to Seoul this coming February. It's because in March he will be transferred to Dubai. Okay so it will be my 3rd time going to Korea and best its going to be winter! I am so happy that i get to go overseas after all this projects that make my hair falls. So we planned on a 7 day 6 night trip on Singapore Airlines. Yeah! Finally i can get my Krisflyer card that i've been longing for. It's going to be a short and memorable experience, hope i get to meet Sooyeon and Yukyung this round. High hopes haha. Okay after korea, our big family will visit Jakarta and Bandung. Yay another getaway with more people. This plan has been going around since November last year. I going to meet my brother Randy at Jakarta. I told him the news about my visit and he was very excited. We last met after O levels which is in 2010 and yeah it's been 3 years and we missed him. I wonder how he will look like. He said he want to bring me and show his place his friends and his crush, i was like OKAY since i have the Indo look can blend with the locals there. It's going to be a great year. Once my business kicks in, there's many stuff i need to do, one of which is to pay fully my school fees and get a good 2nd car for myself. Every holiday i planned to stay in Dubai for the duration of that holiday. Oh damn i'm so excited just writing about this. I think i write a bit too much. Till i see you again

Hectic week, TGIF

Hey readers,

I would like to say thanks to you for taking a bit of your time and viewing my private blog. I really appreciate the support. From this blog, you will know me better and better.

Okay lets start with monday. I had really a hectic and tiring weekday in school. Monday nothing particular as we go through tutorials on After Effects in IDM. I can say After Effects is not difficult to use afterall. You can make a really cool graphics and even green screen fotages from those Holywood movies.Back home i rushed to finish my interface design as i have 2 more subpages to go. Seriously i never touch this subject for a month already. There's Poly Open house and everywhere is filled with secondary students. Haha but the best is i met Salihah and Umar working for sjora and got a few free cups,well it's free anyway. I like the taste, will consider buying one soon.

 Okay Tuesday, I met Aloysius and we go print our A3 boards and powerpoint. Basically we are doing hotel automation room system for Interface Design 2. It was really a money sucking day. Each person need to have a CD,powerpoint slides printed out and A3 board. Cost nearly $25 each. What a great day for the printershop Auntie. On this day i went in to class 1/2 late for both classes. guess will get a L then, no big deal.On Tuesday night, i went online to help my groupmates with Google SketchUp. Teach him via join.me.
Anyway if you guys want to do discussions or remote control your friends PC or even webinars, check join.me. It's really a good program that my sister introduce to me. Okay Here's a screenshot after i have compiled our models and placemarks together.

We are doing on Cable Car Center Singapore. I modeled and textured the center piece. Haha How does it look? Teacher said it was good, well to be honest, it was an 3 hrs job. I would love to do more comes holiday soon. So my group presented and i was the main speaker, we crap our way through though.

Thursday, Finally a day that i can wake up really late, 11am. School at 1pm and only 3 hrs of lesson. We did   a tutorial on After Effects again for IDM. I don't think i have the files here with me. I will show you next week okay? then i remodeled the interior of the car for IDM project. Haiz we are still modeling after all these weeks. Soon there will be a post production, damn it.

Friday, Today was a mini-hell for me. At ASP.Net graded lab i think the whole class barely pass, to get the connection to the data and input data reader to the website it takes ages,we got it after 1hr 30mins of exploring and rearranging C# codes. So we can't complete on time. Then follow my DBMS. Today is the first teach of 2013 and i'm the first victim. I presented everything from the slides slowly and clearly but i didn't explain though. Anyway today's teach was all fun and laughter, Barbanas create a sarcastic joke everytime on our examples but anyway he is a good teacher.

This week we attend a lecture on MP/SIP. Freaking hell, its here already so soon? Well i was interested in a few good projects such as the airport designing and aerospace navigation system. Nonetheless i know it's going to get super difficult so i think i'm just going with the crime scene investigation. Grouped together with Aloysius and we prefer to stay in school rather than going outside.I know there's more out there but you know not everyone get the opportunities.

Okay looking forward to my weekends though. My weekends started as of 2pm after Friday Prayers. Went out with Muhammad for lunch and collect mac battery at Changi City Point. It was a short catch-up session but it is worth it, that's what he said though. So i will end my post here and right now. Have an awesome weekends i will let you know of new updates soon. Oh yeah, COE for category A of cars of 1600CC and below just risen to $92,100 up $10k!. I don't know what will happen if it continue rises.How i wish they drop to about half of it and i'm sure my parents will change the white car.Its been 8 years anyway and it need to be change real soon. I don't know what brand but we are looking at Audi and Volkswagen if the COE dropped by half. Who knows when. Okay go!

Weekends with karl

Hey readers, how are you doing? Weekends is simole and normal. What I mean by that? The usual wake up at 10am and sleep as late as 2am. Wake up bathe eat tv/computer nap wake up cycle repeats again. So boring I know but what to do, almost everyone is working on Saturday. 

It just feel so sucks not having a car. Growing up with cars and like a prince I couldn't ask anymore. You got the feelings of going everywhere but plan fails because it either too lazy or just forget about it. This is dangerous hahas.

Okay saturday night we went over cousin house for a meeting. Well we are going to sell cupcakes. It was a really brainstorming session. I provide all knowledge on marketing techniques. As you guys may not know, I'm actually an online business. To be revealed more later on. I will post some photos of our cupcakes and do let me know how it looks like since you can't taste it. Haha.

Actually last weekend I did a breakthrough of my online success. I actually have a capture page and SLO(Self Liquidifying Offer )page. I was quite happy when everything started out nicely. I got to say this but it works! I set up my autoresponder too. For 6 domain hosting and auto-responder, $10/month its quite a steal. Even if I buy aweber and hoatgator it will round up to near $60. So I highly recommend this product to whoever is trying online marketing, they teach you from scratch. So my first phase of development has succeeded now the main thing is bring traffic in. I got plenty of ideas in mind.

Lets talk abit about school. This is week 12 and holy crap, 5 weeka to go till end of year 2. Poly life makes you older fast because its really damn fast. I did a modification to the rejected cinema4d camaro models and im still working on the inside. Its so difficult to get the correct lighting and so.

Welcoming 2013 with a bang!

Hey guys, what's going on is karl here with a brand new blog. I'm back to blogging because my sister says she want to read it. Okay lets begin. Since its 5 January now I shall rewind back ro 1st January.

I celebrated 2013 together with my brother and cousins. We drive up to Johor Bahru and we spend 2 days and 1 night at M suites Hotel. This year new year is different from my previous years.  As you all may know my new ywar is always celebrated overseas or on the air. It was a makan short trip. We started with a hot tea as it was raining super heavily. We bought keropok lekor, goreng pisang etc from the roadside for Rm12. It's very cheap compare to Singapore. We then headed to KSL shopping center where we spend the time for groceries shopping and have our lunch at Sushi King,  it was my treat. Then we bought stuff for the new year celebration. It was a mini cholocolate fondue.  Brother brought the set from his workplace. After checking in, we wash up abit, prayed and off for dinner. Guess what we had for dinner?

Yupp we had korean BBQ at the famous Singgah selalu Restaurant.  It was extremely packed that night as everyone want to usher the new year there. Lots of fantastic stuff happened and they got a live band. I dont enjoy the liveband because I cant even hear myself. It was so loud. The food was delicious and we crave for more. But we had our fills and we left the place 1/2hr before new year. We got back into the room and we watched live broadcast of new year celebration from Channel 5. It was a huge celebration. international artist like jersey boys and new korean pop group Skarf was there and as usual the local artist. Nothing fantastic cause every year is the same person hosting and performing.

2013 was welcome with a loud bang from everywhere. In Johor everyone went to Danga Bay as the fireworks starts. So packed, kids on bicycle some people even come on foot! Extreme man. We watch a few movies before going to sleep at 3 am. We wake up at 10am and we are luxky cause hotel breakfast closes at 1030am. The signature malaysian nasi lemak, the indian chapatti. When im typing this my Saliva ia drooling just thinking about the food that we ate.

Yumm yumm yumm yummy.

We headed back to Singapore and reached home at 3pm. To my surprise I was greeted by a new Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee maker! Sister got it from her branch as a farewell gift. It was so awesome and the year will be packed with more stuff.

School? Nothing fantastic.  Wake up at 6 leave the house at 7 class at 8. But my results was not bad though. Seriously I dont enjoy doing animation. People might find it enjoyable and interesting. The pain and disappointment after your work is rejected.  Not only my group in fact the whole class! This is outrageous,  but you know what we will survive! 5 weeks to go in school. Haha some people is jealous! 14 Feb 2013 is the end of semester 2.2 time fly so fast! A year older, a year nearer to death.

Okay I will conclude this post by saying the pain is just temporary, the glory is eternity. Quote by a wise man. Haha that's so random.  Okay its time for me to sleep.
