How have you all been?
I hope everyone is at their best of health and having fun since its a pretty long holidays. First and foremost i would like to apologize for my slowness in updating this blog. I am kind of really busy lately. Okay Let me begin from the third week of Ramadan.
So this week many things happen. Our normal outing to the lagoon after Terawih has increased. We visited like almost alternate night of the week. Ramadan is ending and everyone is in the mist of preparing of Aidilfitri. My primary school bros and my ex-classmate went to the mosque together. Apparently one of them has a pending TP(Traffic Police) test on 31st July. He was really keen and sure he will pass one time. He went for prayers without fail as the date approaching. I remember that particular night, we were out at the lagoon and he spend his time alone. Everyone of us in the group understand how is he feeling because all of us are holding the blue card. Well the blue card i'm referring to is the driving license. That night Amin really drive like a pro, we went for a short ride on his car and all of us got back home safely.
The next day, is the big day for Hariz. It's his TP day. I was feeling quite nervous even though i'm not the one taking it but as a bro, i need to feel nervous for him. I told him to recite some Surah and perform Prayers in the wee hours. Thank God to Allah, he is greatest the Almighty. I am relieved to hear the good news upon him passing the test. So that means, he have another license to his name ): Of course i feel jealous because i didn't get to take it before him, if not i will be riding to school with ease. That night, we had a blast, so it was me who sponsored the ride. We went to Changi Airport Swensen and it was the man of the day treat! We really had so much time together. Even though we are not in the same secondary school, all of us met because of poly and our regular Masjid. One thing for sure, all of my friends have been through the worst and all of us is consider to be more religious than previously.
We had earthquake for supper and each of us had a option to choose two flavours from the menu. It was so yummy. Of course along the way, we make sarcastic jokes and laugh to our heart content. Even some of the jokes is super bad and may hurt one easily, we don't really take it to heart. Our friendship of 13 years will not break us apart even when we are married in the near future, Insyallah.
So i was working for the weekends a week before Hari Raya. On saturday it was the same with Yang De and Jocelyn and sunday with Afifah. Talking about it, i needed to cover slot at terminal 3 booth and I work with Afifah. Even we have been working together i still find her scary but she's kind and never scold me before. Compare to the rest who said Afifah always scold them i got no experience with that. So time pass by quickly that day and the queue is really long. I really hate it when there are a lot of China's flight. Not only they are a big spender, but also expect us to speak Chinese to them. Surprisingly i picked up quite a few Chinese for the really cannot communicate passengers.Of course i will attempt to talk to them in English first. Apart from that, i really enjoyed working at T3 because there are korean and japanese flights. I remember before Ramadan i can remember a few Korean and Japanese sentence but now the Chinese sentence in me has overpowered. I need to pick up my Korean back for my upcoming trip. I am so excited, its like 2 months away and I am all prepared for the trip. I need to brush my Hanggul abit more, i think i'll do it one week before i leave for Seoul.
Alright, bambambam.
Now it's the fun part. On Hari Raya's eve, i went to school for about 3 hours. Out of the 3 hours, i accompany Haidar at the library and saw Shafiq. I really pity them because i was doing that same thing 2 years before. So we had a bit of time to catch up. Then when i go back to my lab, my cp ask us to fill in some course survey. It has been so long since i last gotten a survey not mentioning that we need to shade in the OTAS. Funny that we didnt answer any open ended question. There's no marks anyway why should we bother with it? right. After that, Joel,Alex,Aaron and me went to Tampines to reset our singpass. We needed the singpass to register for medical. So once i got back the lab again, listen to a few Hari Raya songs and i'm back home. All Muslims student is granted a half day on the eve of Hari Raya. The moment i reached home, i lie on the bed and occasionally fall asleep till Iftar time. Brother had been busy at the kitchen preparing for Hari Raya dishes. I feel useless because i only helped to clean a bit and change the cushion. That night, i accompany Hariz on his bike, we went to run some errands and we meet the rest of the 102 bros for a sparklers night. That night i remember, there's no way for anyone to walk and the speed is super slow.i wasted 10 minutes walking in the bazaar just to buy the sparklers. Upon arriving, everyone else were there and we haven't meet each other for months. Many things happen and we chatted while playing sparklers under the void deck. It was a common scene for all of us at 102.
The next day its Syawal first day! everyone wake up in the light drizzle lazy morning. But all of us make our way to the Masjid despite the rain. I was dressed in my brown Jubah that brother bought for me last year during his Haj trip. It was comfy. Everyone else was wearing so nice. The baju kurung, samping, songkok with brooch and lots of Jubah. We need to perform the Solat Sunnat Aidilfitri that morning.Come back, all prepared to head out for visiting. As usual my first house is my eldest aunt house father's side. It was a tiring day as i was the chauffeur. The youngest one in the family always need to become the driver during festive season like this. It was so nice. We ask forgiveness for our wrongdoings from each other and we start a new chapter in life together. As the youngest i still get Duit Raya after i Salam with my elders. You know i always wished that one day me and that lucky girl can wear baju kurung together and ask forgiveness from each other. It's like one of the raya songs, sepasang kurung biru which means Same pairs of Baju kurung.
So we continued jalan raya from morning till night for the next 2 days. Friday was epic for my family. We had planned to start visiting after Solat Jumaat but then one by one people start swarming in till late at night which is at 11pm. I remember we are all set, our hair done, make up done and we need to serve the visitors in our baju kurung. That night, Tv was showing this movie, Tiga temu janji which means three dates. It was a good movie and really touching. The girl who lost her father as he left her mum for other girls promised to her mum that she will never believe in guys after that incident. Then the movie continued with her dating guys for three times and make a good breakup. Little did she know she met this guy, and try to seduce him. The plan backfire because the guy was using reverse psychology on what she had been doing. It was her who confessed to the guy and from there things started to get sweet. It was a nice drama and i really hope i was the guy. I remember the guys visitor was siting in front of the tv watching this show and i can see that everyone is interested in the movie. If you have the opportunity go and watch it, it is in Malay but it's really nice.
So the next day i was down for the T3 1030 shift with Sarah. At first when i look at her i didnt dare to say hi because she looked fierce. But hey we needed to start talking if not the 12 hours going to be such a drag and like a hell. That day, there was a a lot of Japanese and Korean Lady and most of them are pretty. Needless to say the Japanese is very polite. We love helping the Japanese and Korean because they are polite. The Vietnam lady also not bad. I was working inside the booth when Sarah's friend approach me and said hi. I was busy so i said hi and she lend me a helping hand inside the booth. She was pretty. I really wanted to talk but the customer keep on coming and coming. Wait, is she trying to seduce me? she wink at me. Oh damn that gorgeous eyes and that lips, ahh i don't know what to say. Sadly we didn't get to talk and i didn't ask Sarah about her friend name, should i? I was shy and if i were to do that she will confirm know i am interested in her friend. Oh my gooodness.
Okay I have been researching on motorbikes lately. Since my bro Hariz got a bike i am his first pillion and i really enjoyed being on his bike. I keep on thinking, if its my turn to take on the two wheels for the road. But seriously is dangerous and if i think further, its for my transportation. The adult fare is such a hassle for me. One trip to Airport can give me one day full parking charges at the airport in my motor. Well for motor, i decided if i were to take one, i will take scooter. Piaggio or yamaha fino 115 is a good choice for me. I find scooter more classic and they can't speed. Well the main part is to get the destination on time safely, but well i need to consider more stuff before i make that decision to take motor. What you guys think? Do let me know?
