Wonderful beginning of the year people!
How have you all been? I know, my blog hasn't been updated since 5th December 2013 and that's why the title explains everything. I didn't have the time to write much about what happen since so many things happened during the early months of this year. To keep things simple I have decided to split my blog post into three to four different parts. It consists of School, Holidays, Work & leisure. So let me begin with School.
School
The last few days of school was extremely hectic as usual. Everyone would stayed back till the free access lab closes for that day. Since the computer is better than the one we had at home, almost everyone finish up the project in school. I will post a few screenshot of my final project here. I don't wish to go into much details about specific subjects but I want to highlight this module called Advance Interactive Digital Media. For being able to complete my this module project, I would like to thank Azizah and Faried my two classmate who helped me with the coding. Basically this project is to create a 3D model and being able to interact with it. For example since my project have tablets PC, when I clicked on the screen, I am able to play an Advertisement video on it. It's kind of cool but the process behind it is not as simple as it looks. Then I have 3D Real time and Visualisation as well as Interactive 3D modules separately. I will post my project about that two modules since this two module i found it really useful!

This is my project from I3D. If you have 3D anaglyph glasses with the red and blue you can actually see the 3D effects.
This my second part project for 3D Real Time visualisation. As I am into road cycling this days, i decided to model a bike for my project. It's quite fun modeling parts like this.
This is the scene taken from my 3D Real time visualisation project part 1. It's the same content i use for the I3D module as well.
So yeah, as you can see above my final project done with the software called Cinema4D. Towards the end, everyone need to attend a 3 hours Project show organized by our Course. If you have forgotten, my semester 3.1 is doing a Breast Reconstruction awareness educational videos. Since the animated video is a bit graphic I will not post anywhere. During the last month, all the groups was assigned a lecturer to train us on the powerpoint slides and presentation skills for the IMT project show. Our group lecturer Mdm Vivienne was a nice lady who are very patience and guided us along really well for this presentation. Even I admit that she always changes things last minute, at least everything went smoothly as planned. I'm just so glad. Okay I'll let the photos do the talking and to end my School section of this post.

Through thick and thins together, we stayed back till late night to complete the projects. We help each other, we build the trust, everyone grow up since our first day, there will be one last picture of us like this again during graduation ceremony, many things will change but we always remember we are part of Z1102 2011-2014. Wish everyone the best for their future endeavors~
Holidays
Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia February 2014
In mid February, I went to Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia for Maulidur Rasul at the orphanage there. The first day, everyone assembled at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal and we departed for Tanjung Pinang at around 830am. The ride was smooth as it was a huge ferry and there's plenty of available seats. Arrived around 1000am Indonesia time and we first went to the market to shop then proceed to Aston Hotel Tanjung Pinang. I was so shocked that the accommodation was a five star hotel. Definitely satisfied with the trip.

Shower and clean myself since the dry spell affected the Riau province as well. Just need to drink plenty of water to keep hydrated. We left for the orphanage at 4pm, the bus ride took 45 minutes from our hotel. Upon arriving we were greeted by the children there. I feel tears looking at them but I feel more happy that they welcome us with warm welcome. Then the Maulid begins and lasted for 2 hours. Fastforward to the evening, after prayers we went to the beach side seafood restaurant to settle our dinner there. Its a luxurious for the students to be able to have a seafood and most enjoyed the dinner, as for many, it's their first time eating seafood. Even the food is a lot, they didn't finish the dinner. As for my table, everything is clean means we finished every single food served as we were so hungry. Then we bid farewell to them and hopefully we get to see them again, may they have a bright future ahead.
After which, we headed to the only shopping place in Tanjung Pinang which is Ramayana. Its a two storey building everything available under one roof so there's not much things to buy, but definitely I bought 4 pairs of polo t-shirts for work at an amazing discounted price!
We had a good sleep that night as everyone was tired from all the long trips and endless shopping at the market. The next morning, we had a sumptuous breakfast and then we headed to make last minute shopping and waited for the ferry to depart at 5pm. The ferry back to Singapore wasn't as fantastic as the air conditioner is faulty and the China lady beside me sat so close to me its like there's no room between my thigh and hers, i barely had enough space for myself. Anyway the trip was fabulous and It reminds me that I am fortunate to be born here and having the luxurious standard of living compare to them who barely eat three time meals a day.
Kuala Lumpur, Malacca January 2014
My first trip for 2014 is to Kuala lumpur and Malacca in January. It was a family trip with the cousins. We departed from Eunos MRT station where we took a large Van all the way till Kuala lumpur and back to Singapore. After clearing the immigration, we are bound for the North South Expressway. It was a Chinese New year Weekend that day and the expressway is packed with cars going back for the new year. We arrived in Kuala lumpur half past midnight, then we settled at my house in KL. Since it was the last trip before that house is sold.
The next morning, we started shopping at Sungei Wang then to Bukit Bintang. The cousins and the aunts separated the shopping destinations and we met at night for dinner. I managed to get myself a few pairs of t-shirts and lots of other stuff. We settled for lunch at a Korean restaurant. The moment i stepped in the restaurant it remind me of my date with Rose back in Seoul. The ambiance and the smell was the same, how I missed Seoul very much. The food was fantastic and it was enough for the five of us. I told Rose about this place and she also said she missed those times as well. Aww is there anything brewing there?
After lunch we continued shopping at Bukit Bintang and Pavilion where we met with one of my cousins friend. We then settled for dinner at SweeTree Ampang with the rest of the family members. The food is fantastic as well, I can't deny any but it was good. Then the six of us went for a karaoke sessions follow my night market. Ended the day well and it was so tiring.
The next morning, we headed to Malacca and had our breakfast at Subway. Arrived in Malacca at 1pm after 2 hours getting stuck in the congestion! The congestion was so bad every time I visit Malacca. That day we checked into Hatten Hotel Malacca and again a five start hotel there. This picture is a panorama picture taken from our room. The room is overlooking straits of Malacca and it was a breathtaking view.

After cooled ourselves down the shopping spree begins, I managed to buy my running shoe from Bata which was within my budget. Then I just enjoyed the day with lots of foods and foods and foods. Beginning the lunch with Sushi king, followed by Steamboat buffet at the hotel. I lazy to add pictures from my whatsapp about the buffet but it was a good dinner. The steamboat has 168 varieties to choose from and from a price of RM88 per pax. It's quite worth it and I enjoyed my steamboat!
I shall end my post with pictures to hint of my upcoming 2O14.
